Homelessness prevention includes rental assistance to eligible individuals and families. Also, voucher sheltering is available for homeless individuals.

Utility Assistance

Families in danger of losing utility services receive financial assistance and help in developing budgets and payment plans

The Sink or Swim Program

UPO provides mentoring offers exciting projects, programs and workshops designed to give youth the opportunity to address issues that  typically occur during pre-adolescent and teenage years. Sink or Swim accepts applications throughout the year. The Sink or Swim Mentoring Program conducts group sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm – 5:00pm.

Young Women’s Helpline 

This program provides mentoring for  young women aged 11 – 17 who are at risk of school failure and social dysfunction.

Case Management

We provide personalized and comprehensive case management services for individuals and families.

Emergency Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is available to eligible individuals and families who are in need of emergency food assistance.

Health and Social Services Committee

The committee aims to educate community about various health issues, provide free health screenings, and provide referrals when necessary.

Access Point Employment Training 

This program is designed to provide guidance to find employment and writing an effective resume
